Write for us
Prime Daily Bulletin welcomes pitches for clear, original pieces about small-scale making, everyday mechanisms, material choices and the lessons a modest experiment can teach. We are interested in ideas that readers can explore without specialist equipment or risky work.
What makes a good pitch
Send a focused proposal with a working title, the central question or project, the reader it is for and the main takeaway. A strong idea has a distinct angle, explains why it is worth trying or understanding, and is honest about limitations, likely snags and what a reader should not assume.
The work we can consider
We consider explainers, comparisons, short histories, myth-checking and occasion-based project plans. Submissions must be original and clearly written. Avoid hazardous materials, electrical or gas work, safety-critical repairs, unsupported claims and advice that requires a professional assessment.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page to send your pitch and choose the editorial question option. Please include a brief outline and relevant writing or project context in your message; a proposal is not a promise of publication, and we will not request confidential material.
A good first try is allowed to look like a first try
We treat making as a way to notice, test and adjust. The aim is not a perfect result; it is learning something you can use next time.
